“Katipunero”
“Katipunero” is a soldier/freedom fighter during the Spanish era. “Katipunero” is the term for members of the “Katipunan” – the group of Filipinos who rebelled against Spanish rule, founded by Andres Bonifacio.

Pine Trees of Malico, Nueva Vizcaya
Brgy Malico is located in Sta Fe, Nueva Vizcaya. It’s about 6 hours bus ride from Manila. It’s one of the highest (and most beautiful) place I’ve ever been to. The climate is very similar to that of Baguio City.

This picture was taken at the Manila Bay (at the back of The Manila Ocean Park). I don’t know how kids are able to swim in such a dirty bay (or part of Manila Bay).

These fishes were cut in half and dried in the sun. It’s locally called Daing after this process.
