CAP Building

IMG_5557

CAP Building along Amorsolo Street, Makati City. What happened to the controversy that plague this company? Is this company already bankrupt? I remember it’s advertisement about how it’s ideal to invest money (through them) for college education. I guess several people are victims of these false advertisements.

Memorial Cross, Fort Santiago

IMG_7314

The marker besides this Memorial Cross in Fort Santiago reads:

In Memory Of The Victims At Fort Santiago

On this site lie the mortal remains of approximately 600 Filipinos. Their bodies were found inside a nearby dungeon where victims of the atrocities perpetrated by the Japanese Imperial Forces were imprisoned during the last days of February 1945.

The memory of all these unknown victims of Japanese atrocities will live forever in the hearts and minds of the Filipino People.

May their souls rest in peace.

Rizal’s Monument In Fort Santiago

Inside Fort Santiago, you’ll see a huge statue of Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal holding a book. I wonder who the sculptor was.

Fort Santiago

IMG_7271

Fort Santiago is located inside the walled city of Intramuros and is one of the oldest part of this ancient city. The first time I visited this place was during a field trip in Grade 4. The second time I visited this place was just recently. It is still one of the best places in Manila.
